General Assembly and 1776 Announce Educational Partnership
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 09, 2013 -- General Assembly, a global educational institution transforming thinkers into creators today announced an educational partnership with Washington, D.C. incubator platform, 1776. Through this partnership, General Assembly and 1776 will offer full-time immersive programs, long-form courses, and classes and workshops in technology, business and design at the 1776 Campus located four blocks from the White House.

General Assembly and 1776 will begin offering classes and workshops at the 1776 campus in October. Early classes will teach students basic essentials, practical insights and tactical approaches to topics such as programming, startup law, growth hacking, Google AdWords, data visualization, and Intro to HTML and CSS. Long-term courses in front-end web development, and user experience design will begin in early 2014. In these practice-driven courses, students will learn: the foundations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and will build an interactive website; and will build wireframes, implement best practices for common design patterns and analyze business goals from a user perspective.
