Georgia Insurance Advisors Initiates Charity Drive to Support Local Family Struggling with Tragic Turn of Events
Bogart, GA (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- Georgia Insurance Advisors, a full service insurance firm that provides coverage for hundreds of businesses and families throughout northern Georgia, is launching a charity drive in support of the McMillans, a local family that needs assistance in dealing with heartbreaking tragedy.
After recovering from a two month work absence and a grueling back surgery due to an on the job injury, Jerry McMillan was returning to work when the unthinkable happened. His wife Lisa and their two young boys were involved in a deadly head-on auto collision. Eric and James suffered multiple nerve injuries and concussions, and are now receiving treatment from multiple physical and cognitive therapists. Lisa has been released from intensive care after three weeks of treatment, but the family faces a long road to recovery for their sons.
