Gerling Law Great Helmet Giveaway Celebrates 10 Years And Over 7,000 Free Helmets

Evansville, IN (PRWEB) September 22, 2017 -- Since 2007, Gerling Law has provided over 7,000 free bicycle helmets to children in need throughout their community with the Great Helmet Giveaway. “Families with limited resources have difficulty buying helmets for their children. We want every child who needs a helmet to have one,” said Evansville native Gayle Gerling Pettinga, owner and managing attorney of Gerling Law and a valued community leader.

In its 10-year duration, Gerling Law’s Great Helmet Giveaway has partnered with multiple civic organizations including Boy Scouts, the EVSC (Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation) and the Evansville Police Department. The attorneys of Gerling Law demonstrate an ongoing commitment to civic duty through the Gerling Law Giving Pledge. Altogether, the firm has supported over 100 charitable, non-profit organizations including the Tri-State Food Bank, Evansville Christian Life Center, and the Evansville African American Museum.

Gerling Law’s compassion for those in need extends beyond their personal injury clients. In the past, Gayle Gerling Pettinga has served on the board of directors for Holly’s House, a non-residential child and adult victim advocacy center, as well as Gilda’s Club of Evansville, which is dedicated to offering emotional and social support to anyone touched by cancer.
