GetApp Unveils its Ranking of the Top Cloud-Based Business Management Software for Q1 2016
(PRWEB) February 01, 2016 -- Business app discovery site GetApp has released its Q1 2016 GetRank of the top 25 cloud software solutions for business management. NetSuite claimed the top spot in the ranking, while WORK[etc] CRM and Bitrix24 took second and third place, respectively.
GetRank is an independent ranking of cloud-based applications which uses five distinct data points to calculate the top performers in a wide range of product categories. The aim of the ranking is to help small businesses make an accurate first assessment of the business management apps market when embarking on their software buying journey.
When ranking each software vendor, GetApp takes into account user reviews, software integrations, mobile app availability, media presence, and security. Each app is scored out of 100, with each of these five factors carrying a maximum score of 20.
NetSuite earned 87 out of 100 overall, scoring a maximum 20 points for integrations, social media presence, and security. WORK[etc], which was second overall, scored highest for user reviews, garnering 20 out of 20. The highest rated business management software for mobile app availability was Bitrix24, which placed third in the overall ranking.

To calculate GetRank scores, the ranking system looks at the number of reviews and their ratings on GetApp to determine the user review score. The mobile score is derived from data gathered from Google Play and the Apple App Store. The integrations score is based on the number of software integrations listed on GetApp. Social media presence is based on a software vendor’s Twitter and Facebook followings. Finally, the security score is calculated using vendor-completed surveys modelled on the Cloud Security Alliance’s Self-Assessment Form.
