GetSafe Home Security Introduces Line of Z-Wave Home Automation Products
Concord, CA (PRWEB) December 05, 2016 -- GetSafe Home Security (https://GetSafe.com) today announced the launch of its new line of Z-Wave home automation products. With the new line of products, GetSafe Home Security users can control lights, door locks and electronics within their home.
“This means that our customers can use our smartphone app to control all aspects of their smart home,” says Kevin Magna, General Manager of GetSafe Home Security. “Your phone can now act as the remote control for your home.”
GetSafe’s new line of home automation products includes Smart LED Light Bulbs, Smart Dimmers and Wall Switches. The items range in price from $16 to $65.
All of these products work with GetSafe Home Security’s existing security cameras and security alarms. That means they can be controlled through the GetSafe smartphone app from anywhere.
Z-Wave is a wireless communications protocol that has become the standard for smart home automation. Unlike other home automation protocols, Z-Wave allows smart home devices to communicate with one another, regardless of their manufacturer. That means customers can add also third-party products such as garage door openers to their system.
Support for Z-Wave adds to GetSafe’s growing list of compatible products. GetSafe already works with the Nest learning thermostat (https://getsafe.com/getsafe-works-with-nest/).
