Ghostly Audience-Immersion Party/Theatre Event to Haunt Fremont May 16-25
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- An audience-immersion party/theatre event, reminiscent of the famous "Tony and Tina's Wedding," “The Grimaldis: A Musical Ghost Story” by Dane Ballard Productions, will be presented Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Hale's Palladium May 16-25. The audience will become more than just spectators, acting as guests at a haunted party, nibbling hors d'oeuvres and mingling with ghosts who perform around them, singing, performing magic, aerial acts, comedy, dance and more. Tickets that include passed appetizers as part of the performance start at $35, and are available at http://www.TheGrimaldisAreDead.com, or by calling Brown Paper Tickets’ 24/7 live event concierges at 800-838-3006.
"Like the celebrated "Tony and Tina's Wedding," "The Grimaldis" is an audience-immersion show that will be more fun to watch than the average theatre production, a spectacle for people of all ages to enjoy together,” said Dane Ballard, writer and producer of the event. “Audiences will engage with all five senses, to help them to feel like the show has come to life.”
"Theatre Amuse-Bouche" means "theatre that entertains the mouth," and usually applies to gastronomic experiences, but in this case, it’s the act of tasting delicious hors d'oeuvres as a part of the audience's interaction with the performance. The appetizers will be created by Hale’s, and served by the characters as if each audience member is at a party with this eccentric family of performing ghosts. "The Grimaldis may be dead, but the show (and the party) must go on," Ballard said.
“Tickets to the show would be a great gift to slip into a Mother's Day card,” Ballard said. “This show is one that can be enjoyed alone, as a couple, with a large group of friends, or as a treat for mothers and their sons or daughters to experience together.”
“The Grimaldis” is written and produced by Dane Ballard and the show's original music and lyrics were composed by veteran composer John Woods. “The Grimaldis” cast and crew are led by talented Director Kerry Christianson and Music Director Ben Dobyns.
