(PRWEB) January 26, 2015 -- Gilmore & Bell, P.C. announced that Meghan K. McKernan and Nancy A. Midden have been named Directors in the Kansas City office.
Ms. McKernan has been practicing public finance law since 2007. Ms. McKernan is a member of the Missouri Bar Association. Ms. McKernan received a BSBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003 and she received her J.D. Degree (magna cum laude) and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2007.
Ms. Midden has been practicing law since 2003, and has practiced exclusively in the public finance area since 2006. Ms. Midden is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association. Ms. Midden serves on the Board of Directors of the Association for Governmental Leasing & Finance. Ms. Midden received a B.A. in Economics from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and she received her J.D. Degree from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 2003.
Gilmore & Bell, P.C. announced that James K. Dummitt, Jacob S. Lowry, David S. Martin and Alan Woolever in the Kansas City office, have been named as Shareholders of the firm.
Mr. Dummitt has been practicing law since 2008. He is a member of the Missouri and California Bar Associations and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Mr. Dummitt received his Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and his J.D. (cum laude) from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007. He completed his LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 2008.
Mr. Lowry has been practicing law since 2004, and has practiced exclusively in the public finance area since 2007. He is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations. Mr. Lowry received his B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma in 2001. In 2004, he received his J.D. (with distinction) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Mr. Martin has been practicing law since 2007. He is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007 (Cum Laude).
Mr. Woolever has been practicing law since 2008. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Association for Governmental Leasing & Finance. Mr. Woolever earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Arizona State University in 2002, a J.D. (Cum Laude) and a L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2008.
