Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast Announces New Board of Directors
Ventura, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2014 -- Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast announced today the installment of its new Board of Directors representing communities throughout the council.
The council's new Board Members are: Tammie Helmuth, President; Terry Miron, Vice Chair; Crystal Evans, Secretary; Ashley Ogdon, Treasurer; and Katherine Punteney, Mark Lisa, Kalpana Iyer, Maria Sanchez, Keisha Frost and Ryan Van Ommeren.
Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast CEO Gina Jaeger thanked outgoing Members at the council's annual meeting on April 5, 2014 in San Luis Obispo and awarded the Girl Scouts Thanks Badge for outstanding service to outgoing Board Chair, Heather Vesterfelt.
"We're excited for the growth, and commitment of such a diverse new slate of Board Members to continue the work of investing in girls along the central coast," said Jaeger. "The council's new Board includes members whose backgrounds encompass education, technology, healthcare, finance, non-profit and entrepreneurial leadership."
Tammie Helmuth - Ventura, Board Chair, is President & CEO of Conejo Awards. Terry Miron - Atascadero, Vice Chair, is Accounting Manager for multiple locations of Kennedy Club Fitness in San Luis Obispo county. Crystal Evans - Thousand Oaks, Secretary, is a Marketing Analyst at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital. Ashley Ogden - Templeton, Treasurer, is Assistant Relationship Manager at Umpqua Bank, and President-elect, California Women for Agribusiness. Keisha Frost - San Jose, Member-at-Large, is a former Olympian and Director of Community Giving & Marketing at United Way of Santa Cruz County. Kalpana Iyer - Thousand Oaks, Member-at-Large, is a Consulting Program Manager in Technical Services. Mark Lisa - Paso Robles, Member-at-Large, is CEO of Twin Cities Community Hospital. Katherine Punteney - Monterey, Member-at-Large, is Assistant Professor in International Education Management at MIIS. Maria Sanchez - Westlake Village, Member-at-Large, is Host of The Maria Sanchez Show. Ryan Van Ommeren - Newbury Park, Member-at-Large, is Vice President of Operations and Planning at California Lutheran University.
