Give Where You Live: Bolder Staffing Highlights Corporate Responsibility for Colorado Gives Day
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) December 09, 2014 -- Bolder Staffing, Inc. today announced its support of and participation in the fifth annual 2014 Colorado Gives Day, an annual statewide movement celebrating and encouraging philanthropy in Colorado through online giving.
Bolder Staffing, Inc. has supported Colorado Gives Day by organizing fundraisers, canned food drives and donating to causes like There with Care, which supports families and children facing critical illness. In 2014, the Bolder team has supported several good causes and has directly participated in outreach efforts locally and abroad.
The philosophy: the season of giving and promoting the welfare of others is 24/7.
Honey Beuf, Bolder Staffing, Inc. Vice President and CFO is a board member of Charities Within Reach, a non-profit that helps impoverished minority Hilltribe children in Northern Thailand through housing, educational and vocational opportunities. This spring, Beuf traveled to Thailand to deliver clothing, food and school supplies to Hilltribe children and helped transition four orphans and their caretakers to better living conditions.
With an operating budget of approximately $18,000 per year for the Thailand orphanage, Beuf and team hope to add two more children next year.
“Bolder Staffing, Inc. and its leadership team takes pride in corporate responsibility and giving back to the community, both locally and globally. Each year, we host a sale of clothing, hand bags and jewelry brought back from Thailand. All proceeds go to CWR,” said Beuf. “We also had a garage sale this summer and raised more than $2,000. We welcome new ideas to help raise awareness and funds for CWR.”
