Snoqualmie, WA (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- Gladiator Technologies Division announced today the release of a new model of their proven high performance LandMark™ 50 GPS/AHRS. The new CANBUS output feature enables easy integration for automotive test users as well as automotive racing test teams. The system builds upon the successful heritage of the company's LandMark™ GPS/AHRS product families, including the LandMark™ 10/20/30/40 and 50. The new and improved LandMark™ 50 GPS/AHRS represents inertial performance on par with systems utilizing traditional higher cost inertial technologies. This performance leap with low cost MEMS technology offers substantial improvement in performance over previous generation systems and is combined with a 72 channel GPS receiver with up to an 18Hz GPS navigation update rate. All LandMark™ GPS-Aided products now incorporate the new GPS receiver. In addition to CANBUS outputs, the LandMark™ 50 GPS/AHRS also features our standard RS422/RS485 serial interface with a data rate of 100Hz (4 KHz internal sampling rate) and offers many advanced performance features:
• NON-ITAR High Performance MEMS GPS-Aided AHRS with CANBUS Output
• 72 Channel GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS & SBAS (Galileo Ready*)
• SBAS: WAAS, EGNOS & MSAS
• Up to 18 Hz Navigation Update Rate GPS
• GPS Velocity Accuracy 0.05 m/s
• GPS Heading Accuracy 0.3 degrees
• GPS Horizontal Accuracy ±2.0m CEP w/SBAS
• Heading ±0.5 degree typical
• Pitch & Roll Angles ±0.1 degree typical
• Ultra Low Noise Gyros 0.0009 degrees/sec/√Hz
• Low Noise Accels 0.02mg/√Hz (2g)
• In-Run Gyro Bias 1 degree/hour 1σ
• GPS-Aided Velocity & Built-in Turning Error Correction
• Fully Compensated Bias & Scale Factor Over Temperature -40°C to +85°C
• CAN 2.0B and RS422/RS485 Data Formats
• Low Power <1.2 W typical
• Input Voltage +6V to 36V
• Light Weight <550 grams

CEO Mark Chamberlain, commented, "We are excited to offer this new model of our MEMS-based LandMark™ 50 GPS Aided-AHRS with CANBUS output. It will ease integration and use by our automotive customers, yet still provide a low-cost and feature rich suite of GPS-Aided inertial data. We are integrating this new digital electronics architecture into our other GPS-Aided inertial systems and will be announcing those product model upgrades soon.”
