Global Connected Aircraft Summit Heads Back West for Bigger Event in 2016
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 -- Avionics and Via Satellite are pleased to announce that registration is open for the third annual Global Connected Aircraft Summit taking place June 6-8, 2016 at the Loews Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA.
Following highly successful events in its first two years, the Global Connected Aircraft Summit has nearly doubled in attendees and industry support by way of sponsors and partners in the aviation and satellite industries. The annual summit is recognized as a leader in terms of top executives and thought leaders concerned with growing connectivity in the aerospace industry and plans to grow that reputation further in 2016.
“The Global Connected Aircraft Summit in two short years has become the key event to talk all things connected aircraft. We had more airlines speak than ever before and terrific backing from almost 20 industry sponsors. The 2015 Edition was bigger and better than ever, with illuminating keynotes from the likes of Cisco, Nok Air and United Airlines. With more focus on operations, and areas like cyber-security, the content went deeper than ever before when looking at the issues facing airlines. Over the next 12 months, we will have a revamped Advisory Board helping us shape the content for the 2016 version of the event. Next year, we move back to the west coast to hold the event. We will once again be the event where major airlines come and speak, as well as network with solutions providers on how to implement their connected strategy. Our plans are already underway and we look forward to seeing you there,” says Mark Holmes, Editorial Director of Avionics and Via Satellite and the Conference Chair for the Global Connected Aircraft Summit.
Across three days, attendees will hear panel discussions, debates, industry and airline case studies, and keynote presentations addressing key areas of importance in the connectivity space to include:
- Cyber security
- Satellite bandwidth
- Operations in the cockpit
- The passenger experience
- Telemedicine
- The manufacturing perspective
- Future proofing
- Lessons learned from alternative industries
- Aircraft maintenance
- Technical challenges
Attendees will also have ample time to network and share ideas with more than 350 colleagues from all parts of the aerospace industry and beyond, from airlines, operators, integrators, technology vendors, engineering firms, manufacturers, government, and outside industries looking to discuss connectivity.
Airline and government employees receive a special discount, and the early bird expires at the end of 2015. To find out more about the Global Connected Aircraft Summit, visit http://www.gcasummit.com.
