Global Healthcare Management’s 4th Annual Kids Fun Run
Milford, NJ (PRWEB) October 13, 2017 -- Global Healthcare Management’s 4th Annual Kids Fun Run brought out many kids this past weekend at scenic Alexandria Park in Milford, NJ. This free event, sponsored by Global Healthcare Management’s CEO, Jon Letko, is aimed at getting kids excited about exercise and physical activity. The fun run is geared towards children of all ages; it is a non-competitive, non-timed event, which is all about having fun and making it to the finish line.
Jon Letko’s thoughts on the event, “My goal has always been to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. As a father of two young boys, I know the importance of starting this at a very young age, in promoting the benefits of exercise and good health. The idea behind this event is to encourage children and their families to come out together for a fun and exciting run around Alexandria Park, in Milford, NJ.”
Following the run, Global Healthcare Management had many planned activities for everyone. All children and their families were invited to participate in games, entertainment and activities. To ensure that all children in the community have the opportunity to participate, the entire event is always free. Letko adds, “For many children who have participated in our fun run, its their first running event and they are so excited and thrilled at their accomplishment when they cross that finish line. I want to build on that and continue this event annually, to encourage many children to strive for those exercise goals and accomplishments.”
Global Healthcare Management’s employees volunteered their time and energy on event day. They handed out water and snacks to all run participants, as well as helping kids with all of the games and prizes. All of the games were built and painted by Global Healthcare Management staff. There was also entertainment on hand with music by DJ Sean and face painting and balloon animals by Brushed with Love. Letko said, “I am always so proud of my staff for how involved they get with our community events and charity initiatives. They volunteer their time for this event year after year, and they enjoy seeing so many smiling faces as the kids cross that finish line.”
