Global K9 Protection Services Launched New Office in Nashville
Franklin, TN (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- Global K9 Protection Services is a new company that opened their doors in Nashville, TN in February 2015. Co-Founders Courtney Graham-Robbins and Diane Cooke have been working in the field for decades, and use their experience to train and sell the best protection dogs. In addition, they offer a 6,500 sq ft home where Managing Partner Graham-Robbins and other team members live, and clients are invited to stay overnight for follow up training packages.
The main location for Global K9 in Nashville is on 23-acres of gorgeous farm land with a lovely stream, green pasture, a barn, and several paddocks for horses and other furry critters. This environment helps the dogs become confident and well-rounded dogs around other animals. The second location is located a few miles away on a 10-acre site with a landscape nursery and empty warehouse for search, detection, and real life scenarios. In addition to their own facilities, the world class dog trainers at Global K9 Protection Services take their available protection dogs into Franklin and Nashville to proof their off-leash obedience in busy city traffic, as well as implement them into pseudo-real threatening scenarios so the protection dogs can gain experience in using the commands they have learned and been practicing.
The protection dogs from Global K9 have crushing bites and are taught to target all body parts with no equipment necessary. Each dog works on drills daily and their skill sets will vary depending on the level of protection the K9 is trained for. The moment Global K9 receives a dog, they begin doing neurological stimulation which de-sensitizes the K9 to different sounds (such as cars, buses, thunder, vacuum cleaners, etc), different textiles (such as marble, wood, concrete, rugs and carpets, and outdoor ground cover like grass, sand, dirt, mud, puddles, and so much more) helping create confident, well-rounded dogs. Once their stable mind, social character, and health is verified by the local vet, Global K9 begins their unique style of training-to respond to a one word command said in a normal tone. Upon delivery they instruct how to control the new family protector at the highest level in obedience and protection. At the end of the delivery they even have the dog disassociate from even listening to their trainer and only listen to their new family.
"Even children handle Global K9 Protection dogs and we make sure of it by staying days to work with every member of the family on delivery. This is part of what makes the company truly incomparable" said Cooke.
