Global SOF Foundation Expands its "SOF for Life" Program for Special Operations Veterans
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 02, 2016 -- The Global SOF Foundation is pleased to announce AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWMT) has joined its SOF for Life program.
SOF for Life is a platform of mutually supporting and networked non-governmental programs that enable special operations personnel as they transition from military service to civilian employment. The U.S. military produces highly-trained and well-educated men and women as elite special operations forces (SOF). SOF for Life gives these professionals access to tools to enable them to enter the private sector as they did their first military operation – with the right preparation and equipment. SOF for Life is a partnership that includes the following organizations:
• The Global SOF Foundation hosts an online database in which former special operations forces (SOF) personnel can upload their resumes. The resumes are available to the Foundation’s corporate partners for recruitment purposes. http://www.globalsoffoundation.org
• The Honor Foundation runs a comprehensive 12-week transition course for in SOF that are 12-18 months away from retirement or separation from the military.
