In 2013, the production volume of coke in Shanxi was 90.77 million tons, increased by 5.4% YOY. It took 21.87% of the national production volume and remained the first in the country. However, the percentage is declining. Other regions with high production volume of coke are Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan and Inner Mongolia.
