GodCloud.org Hosts Special Screening of God is Not Dead 2
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) March 30, 2016 -- In honor of the launch of the new Godcloud.org website, GodCloud is hosting a private screening of the film God is Not Dead 2 at the Providence MarketPlace Regal Cinemas in Mount Juliet, Tennessee for pastors and leaders in the Middle Tennessee area.
As part of the private screening, GodCloud is also hosting Dr. Ming Wang of the Wang Vision Institute and author of From Darkness to Sight: A Journey From Hardship to Healing. Dr. Wang is a graduate of Harvard and MIT, and is the founder and chairman of the Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration, which provides sight restoration surgeries free of charge.
Dr. Ming Wang has a special connection to the God is Not Dead franchise. He served as the inspiration for the character Martin Yip. His inspirational life story, chronicled in his book, God is Not Dead, and God is Not Dead 2, highlights the importance of faith in everyday life. Dr. Wang will speak at the screening of God is Not Dead 2, providing his unique perspective on the film.
This event celebrates the initial launch of GodCloud.org, a full-featured portal for Christians to find churches, events, news, opinions, job listings, shopping, and much more. GodCloud.org aims to help Christians and those interested in discovering more about God by providing a platform for Christian information, community and connection with an exhaustive list of resources.
“The Christian community has long needed a web based resource where they can interact with other believers about news and events important to them,” said Michael Keever, a founder of GodCloud. "We realized that there are few online resources for Christians that help them find current and relevant information on local Christian happenings (concerts, seminars, speakers, etc.), churches, ministries, music, movies, etc. Now Christians have a centralized online community where they can inform and update others about important events, discuss current issues facing the church, pray for and give to those in need, and discover new music, books and other resources to help them in their daily Christian walk,” explained Michael Keever.
In celebrating the launch of this site, the movie screening and lecture by Dr. Wang is free and will take place at 6:45PM, April 9th, 2016 at the Providence MarketPlace Regal Cinemas in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
