GoldMore Passed the RoHS Testing For Outdoor Flashlights
Ningbo,China (PRWEB) April 03, 2016 -- GoldMore is pleased to confirm that all outdoor flashlights and LED lighting systems manufactured by the company, have passed the Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) certification test. This is in accordance with the 2011/65/EU requirements.
This compliance certificate comes a week after GoldMore had applied for the BSCI certificate. It is an effort to ensure that all products meet both the international and local standards.
About RoHS standard
Like the CE certification, RoHS compliance and testing is an important standard for all LED lighting systems that are either used or sold in the European market. All manufactures are obliged to conduct such tests to ascertain that the product is safe for use.
The first RoHS directive was effective from July 1, 2006. Its aim was to protect both environment and consumers from hazardous emissions from all electrical and electronic components.

To ensure consistency in the manufacturing process, GoldMore has invested in more spectroscopy and wet chemistry procedures. These are some of the recommended techniques for any RoHS testing. Again, the Q&A head also assured consumers that testing and quality validation of LED lighting products will be a continuous process. The certified, RoHS test reports are available for GoldMore products that are in the market. The company can avail it on request.
GoldMore has invested in measures aiming to maintain maximum concentration values for the restricted substances at 0.1%. However, for cadmium, it is set to 0.01%.
GoldMore outdoor flashlights and other LED products are tested as per the RoHS2. This is also referred to as 2011/65/EU and it was effective from December 31, 2011.
Since 2008, the GoldMore has invested a lot of resources in various testing facilities. This has improved both reliability and quality of all LED lighting systems. The RoHS product certification test is an essential test just like the CE certification that is recognized in the Eurozone.
