Golf Academy of America to Host Dallas Bagroom Invitational
DALLAS (PRWEB) June 01, 2017 -- Golf Academy of America announced today that it will host the second annual Dallas Bagroom Invitational on Monday, June 19, 2017 and Tuesday, June 20, 2017. This free event is designed to honor Dallas-area golf industry professionals working in outside services or bagrooms and those interested in the field.
The event will kick off with a Pairings Party and Skill Contests held at Golf Academy of America’s Dallas campus, 1861 Valley View Lane, Suite 100, Farmers Branch, TX, 75234.
Every player in the invitational and their guests are invited to the party on June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m., where they will enjoy delicious appetizers and network with other professionals in the golf industry. Guests at the party will also have the opportunity to compete for terrific prizes at the skill challenges.
Every attendee at the Pairings Party will receive a Golf Academy of America gift bag, complete with a $20 gift card to the PGA TOUR Superstore and two Golf Academy of America alignment rods. In addition, every player at the party is entered into a drawing, from which three lucky winners will receive fantastic prizes. Players must be present at the party to win.
On Tuesday, June 20, the Two-Person Shamble Golf Tournament will take place at the Hills Course of the Prestonwood Country Club, 6600 Columbine Way, Plano, TX, 75093.
Registration for the tournament opens at 1 p.m., and play begins at 2 p.m. A box lunch is included as players and their partners complete in a variety of on-course events. The winning teams and winners of the Closest to the Pin and Long Drive contests will receive PGA TOUR Superstore gift cards.
Both players on the first place team will also each receive a $1000 scholarship to the Golf Academy of America in Dallas. This award is non-transferable and applies only to players who are not current Golf Academy of America students or alumni.
