Good Samaritans Facilitate Justice In Motorcycle Accident
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- A lawsuit (Complaint #BC524433, Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles) was filed last week by the Nagelberg Bernard Law Group with regard to a traffic accident from January 9, 2013 in which a young man named Gabor Turi, driving his motorcycle through a green light at an intersection in Los Angeles, collided with a red Bentley that had suddenly made a left turn. According to court documents (Complaint #BC524433, Case # BA412834), the ensuing collision between the two vehicles ejected Mr. Turi from his motorcycle and onto the street, where he lay bleeding with life-threatening injuries. The Bentley’s driver allegedly fled the scene in violation of Felony Hit-and-Run statutes. The owner of the Bentley was later found to be rapper and producer DeAndre Cortez Way aka Soulja Boy.
Court documents show that the driver of the Bentley allegedly drove away, and it was at that time that a Samaritan rushed to Turi’s side and called 911 to summon emergency help to the scene. Other witnesses then stopped what they were doing in order to help Mr. Turi until emergency medical personnel arrived.
Documents illustrate how the first Good Samaritan to respond had by then jumped back onto his own motorcycle to take off after Soulja Boy’s red Bentley. Among other things, the Bentley's driver allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road and traveled through four-way stops without halting on the heels of the incident. The Samaritan, who was able to catch up with the Bentley and reportedly view the face of the driver, was instrumental in bringing the individual under the oversight of the criminal justice system, where he now awaits trial on Hit-and-Run criminal charges. A Preliminary hearing was held on October 16, 2013, and a trial date is soon to be set in Los Angeles County Criminal Court (Case # BA412834).
