Goodwill Community Foundation Adds GCF Family Support Services to Support Families of Children with Special Needs
Durham, NC (PRWEB) February 20, 2014 -- Goodwill Community Foundation (GCF®), a Durham-based, tax-exempt organization dedicated to creating opportunities for a better life, announces the addition of GCF Family Support Services™ (GCF-FSS™). This no-cost program offers education and support to families of children with special needs in 21 counties across eastern North Carolina.
GCF-FSS™ has access to a broad network of resources and support that will increase the ability of GCF® to assist more families throughout eastern North Carolina. The services offered by GCF-FSS™ include parent mentoring, sibling support, information and resource databases, diagnosis specific organization referrals, NICU family support, group meetings and educational workshops.
