Gotham Comes To Philly At The Great Philadelphia Comic Con!
DELAWARE VALLEY, PA (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 -- The Great Philadelphia Comic Con (GPCC) returns April 22-24th, 2016 to The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The GPCC is the largest locally owned comic and pop culture convention in eastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to the members of the cast of Gotham now headlining the event, this year’s show also welcomes actress Amy Jo Johnson, who will be making a rare convention appearance. Johnson is best known by fans for her portrayal of Kimberly Ann Hart on the beloved television series “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.” The native Canadian has also appeared on “Flashpoint,” “The Division,” and “Wildfire”.
Other talents highly regarded in the pop culture realm making an appearance this year include actor/comedian and ”Kenan and Kel” star Kel Mitchell, veteran actor Julian Glover(Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter), “The Walking Dead” and “Pet Semetary” actress Denise Crosby, “Sesame Street” veteran puppeteer/actor Caroll Spinney, “Bleach” voice actor Johnny Yong Bosh, “Star Trek: Voyager” alums Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan Mitchell, actor Glenn Morshower (“Supergirl”/”24”), in total over 40 guests will be in attendance including comic book artist Ethan Van Sciver, inker Scott Hanna and dozens of local and regional artists.
Programming will include Q/A panels, interactive displays, gaming, and of course our ever popular Cosplay Contest on Sunday April 24th at 3pm, with awards for both best individual Male and Female and even Group Cosplays. Our Guest Judges will include popular cosplay personalities such as Ivy Doomkitty, Eric “The Smoke” Moran, and Ana-Mia.
As always, families are encouraged to bring their children, who have free admission (10 and under with an adult) and all participants in the Children’s Cosplay events (at least one per day) are guaranteed a prize! VIP and weekend passes are available online as well as professional photo ops and show merchandise.

Admission: Admission is free for children ages 10 under, accompanied by an adult. A 20% discount will be offered for those who arrive in costume, are active service or senior citizens. Please note the discount will only be applied if ticket is purchased at the door on the day of the show.
