Gourdough’s Donuts Opening New Trailer Location On Riverside
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) June 12, 2018 -- Gourdough’s is proud to announce the opening of its new food truck to be located at 1903 E. Riverside Drive starting Monday June 18th. That’s right Kenny Powers, it’s time to step aside, because Gourdough’s is going east bound and down!
College students everywhere are rejoicing at the increased availability of the world’s most delicious drunk food while east side hipsters are tipping their fedoras in favor of the new location.
Just like its motto, “Big, Fat, Donuts,” Gourdough’s has seen its fan base and lines grow bigger and fatter. After holding down the Austin market with it’s two trailer locations off South First and Burnet, as well as its brick-and-mortar location off South Lamar, Gourdough’s has reached max capacity. While the decision to expand their offerings doesn’t come as a surprise to long-time patrons of the donut joint, co-owner Paula Samford says, “we’re both humbled and thrilled by the continuing demand in our own backyard.”
Gourdough’s newest location will fit right into the east side vibe with its vintage airstream trailer, and will offer an alternative dining option to the many beloved Mexican food restaurants in the area. Its menu will be the same as Gourdough’s other trailer locations, including an array of their most decadent dessert donuts, like the Black Out (a donut topped with chocolate icing, brownie batter, brownie bites and chocolate chips) and their signature savory option, The Mother Clucker (hand battered fried chicken breasts drizzled in honey butter atop a piping hot donut).
There will be a soft opening for the new trailer on Monday June 18th, and a grand opening on Friday, June, 29th. Both dates are expected to be a mother-cluckin’ crazy time! A contest is will be held, starting June 18th and running through grand opening day on June 29th, in honor of the new location. The winner will receive free donuts for one year.
