Governor Reappoints Paul Rosenstiel to CalSTRS Board
WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- Governor Brown announced today the reappointment of Paul Rosenstiel to the Teachers’ Retirement Board, which oversees the retirement benefits for California’s K-12 and community college educators covered under the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS). Mr. Rosenstiel was first appointed to the board in November 2011. He currently serves on the following board committees:
• Chair – Audits & Risk Management Committee
• Vice Chair – Investment Committee
• Benefits & Services Committee
• Board Governance Committee
Mr. Rosenstiel is one of three public members appointed by the Governor to the 12-member board. The appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
