Graeme Innes shares thoughts concerning his novel ‘Platypus Dreaming’

About the Author
Graeme Innes was born and grew up in Masterton, New Zealand, where he undertook a cadetship learning reporting for a daily newspaper. Later, he worked writing in Australia, Germany and South Africa, but frustrated by the developing constraints on press freedom, engaged in broader range of employment experiences before turning his talents to political, cultural and environmental writing, lobbying for improved work practices and cultural protection for Australia’s indigenous Aboriginal people. Innes also wrote a protest action burial story for “Thinking Like A Mountain,” a deep ecology book by Joanna Macy, John Seed, Arne Naess and Pat Fleming.
