Grand Opening Event for Audi Morton Grove Hosts Audi USA President
CHICAGO, Ill. (PRWEB) May 22, 2015 -- Earlier this month, Morton Grove welcomed the grand opening of the new Audi Morton Grove facility, hosted by the Gary McGrath family in Morton Grove, Ill. During the ceremony, dignitaries such as the President of Audi USA Scott Keogh, Mayor of Morton Grove Dan DiMaria and Morton Grove City Council members all attended to take part in the momentous occasion.
The 68,000 square-foot, $18-million facility originally opened in November 2014, is home to 75 employees for the luxury car dealership and still looking to expand. The location is the largest in the Midwest and features the latest in automotive technology, including displays of the most recent revolutionary Audi prototypes and designs.
Audi Morton Grove showcased the unique Audi model cars and hosted more than 250 guests to take part in the festivities. In addition to notable guests, the evening also featured the Audi R18 vehicle, fresh off its circuit at Le Mans, the world’s oldest 24-hour endurance racing event, as well as the ultra-modern 2016 Audi TTS, with its lightweight exterior and turbocharged TFSI® engine.
Inside, the expansive automobile mecca has two floors of showrooms, spacious working areas, multiple coffee bars on both levels and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. The brand-new Audi Morton Grove is located at the northwest corner of Golf and Waukegan Roads in Morton Grove.
The store is owned by Gary McGrath, who is also the owner of three other locations in the Chicagoland area, including McGrath Honda of Elgin, McGrath Honda of St. Charles and McGrath Acura of Morton Grove. The new state-of-the-art Audi facility replaces the previous facility, McGrath Audi of Glenview, which opened in 2003.
