Grand Opening For New Kid To Kid Store in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Chattanooga, TN (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Local residents and mother and son team, Lyn and Justin Shepherd, are excited to announce the grand opening of their first Kid to Kid store, on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 4 p.m. The grand opening will feature a visit from Olaf, Anna and Elsa from Disney’s hit movie Frozen along with many giveaways for shoppers. The first 200 customers will receive a free reusable bag.
Located at 7047 Lee Highway in Chattanooga, the Kid to Kid franchise buys and sells new and gently used children’s apparel, toys, books, baby gear and maternity clothing.
For several weeks, the store has been open to the public to purchase customers’ gently used items. After the grand opening, customers will be able to shop for new and like-new children’s apparel and gear up to 70 percent less than retail prices. The Kid to Kid store will continue to pay for second hand items by offering customers cash or up to 20 percent more in store credit.
“Our hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays and on Sundays, closed Saturdays,” Lyn explained. “We pride ourselves in knowing that we make it easy for families to bring their items to us, no appointment is necessary and we welcome anyone to sell anytime our store is open.”
In addition to carrying hundreds of recycled items, the Kid to Kid store will also offer many new products including toys, shoes, hair bows and apparel. Lyn became interested in the resale concept after her first grandchild was born.
“While shopping my daughter, we visited several children’s clothing stores and that’s went I discovered Kid to Kid and instantly fell in love with the resale concept and how it gives back to the community,” said Lyn. “Coming out of retirement, I wanted to open a family business that I could pass down to my children. I’m now very excited to be opening my first Kid to Kid store!”
