Grand Prairie Affordable Assisted Living to Offer Weather Class
Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- Grand Prairie of Macomb, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will offer a weather class at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
The community, which is located at 1307 Meadowlark Lane in Macomb, Illinois, serves older adults who need some help to maintain their independence.
Dan Wise, a retired Western Illinois University professor who studied the fascinating world of weather, will lead the class. The 75-minute session will focus on storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and other weather-related issues.
Refreshments will be served during the class, which is free and open to the public.

Grand Prairie recently was recognized as one of the Top 20 assisted living communities in Illinois by Assisted Living Today for providing trustworthy and competent care and fostering the independence and individuality of residents.
