Granicus Announces Successful Q1 of 2015, Highlighted by Company's Relocation to Denver
DENVER, Colo. (PRWEB) April 16, 2015 -- Granicus, Inc., the leader in cloud-based government efficiency and transparency solutions, announced today a successful first quarter of 2015, highlighted by substantial changes in company operations.
In the first three months of the year, the company transitioned its headquarters from San Francisco to Denver, Colo., and hired more than 70 employees, with the number of new hires expected to reach 100 by the end of the year and 225 by the end of 2016. In the midst of the operational transition, Granicus welcomed 35 new clients to its nearly 1,200 customers, which was on pace with previous quarters.
Granicus also continued its integration of AMCAD, a Herndon, Va.-based company acquired in late 2014. The software suite, which consisted of the AMCAD integrated Land Information System (AiLIS), Rapid Online Access Method (ROAM), ACCEPT eCommerce and eUniversa, a court case eFiling solution, has been rebranded as Granicus Records Management and has already been implemented by local governments across the country.
“The efforts of our staff to not only manage the company’s transition with professionalism and energy while moving the company forward should be applauded,” said Jason Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to what’s ahead for us as we continue to grow and innovate. We are making bold changes that will bring long-term benefit to Granicus. The commitment to our clients that they are the first beneficiaries of those changes is our top priority.”
Granicus has delivered cloud-based software solutions for government and public-sector organizations for more than 15 years, beginning with live webcasting and video archival of public meetings. Since then, the company has added complete agenda and legislative management software, in-meeting efficiency tools and solutions to manage citizen board appointments and feedback.
“Our growth – both as a company and from a product offering standpoint – is only beginning,” said Javier Muniz, Granicus Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. “This year, we anticipate releasing significant additions to our offerings, which will change the dynamic of the market and greatly benefit the organizations that have trusted us as a software provider.”
