Green Cloud Acquires Ohio-Based ANS Corporation and Secures $5mm Investment from Spring Capital Partners
Greenville, South Carolina (PRWEB) November 09, 2015 -- Green Cloud Technologies, a channel-only provider of Cisco powered Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solutions has acquired ANS Corporation an IaaS and Software as a Service (SaaS) provider based in Akron, Ohio.
The acquisition agreement closed on October 31, 2015, having been approved by the Board of Directors. Coinciding with the acquisition, Spring Capital Partners has made a $5mm investment in Green Cloud to increase sales and marketing investments in Green Cloud’s channel program.

The acquisition gives Green Cloud a third production data center in Akron, Ohio to complement existing facilities in Nashville, Tenn. and Greenville, S.C. It will also expand Green Cloud’s product portfolio with Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure hosting in addition to the existing VMware infrastructure hosting solution. Additionally, ANS brings domain expertise managing healthcare SaaS applications to be further leveraged through the Green Cloud channel partners.
