Greenberg Traurig Attorney Fred E. Karlinsky Participates in Panel at the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association Annual Conference

Karlinsky, shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., participated in a panel discussion at the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association (SILA) Annual Conference held Sept. 19th in San Antonio, TX . The discussion titled “Assess, Secure & Respond: Data Security and All That Applies,” addressed issues related to cybersecurity and insurance. Participants in the four-day conference discussed challenges in the industry and shared best practices, new insights and innovative approaches.
Karlinsky provided an overview of the market and other emerging developments in regulation and litigation regarding cybersecurity. Other SILA conference panel participants included Tom Embrogno from Docupace Technologies and Ann Robinson from RegEd. Karlinsky also anchored the SILA news which previewed and highlighted some of the conference activities.
