Greenberg Traurig Attorney Named to Phoenix Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’
(PRWEB) June 08, 2017 -- Attorney Dana L. Hooper, shareholder in the Phoenix office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” class of 2017.
Hooper was recognized for her impressive professional accomplishments within her legal practice areas of employment law, commercial litigation, and sports matters. She is one of the only female sports agents in the U.S. and her expertise in managing athletes has made her a go-to attorney for female professional athletes needing legal representation, while also representing male athletes and sports oriented businesses and teams. Additionally, she is a professor at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and the Master of Sports Law and Business Program, teaching professional sports law. Hooper is the executive director of the ACLclub and is active with the Phoenix Women’s Sports Association.

Approximately 400 nominations were submitted for consideration of this year’s 40 Under 40 class. As in the past, the Phoenix Business Journal will produce a special 40 Under 40 publication that profiles the individuals honored. The program culminates with a special editorial section in the August 2017 issue of the Phoenix Business Journal and an awards event on Aug. 3.
