Greenberg Traurig Represents AMBI Group in its Acquisition of Exclusive Media Group’s Film Library
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) September 17, 2015 -- International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP successfully closed a deal last week regarding the structuring and negotiation of a complex cross-border acquisition of Exclusive Media Group (EMG). EMG is a group of U.S. and U.K. companies owning a large library of motion pictures, and has been engaged in the domestic and international motion picture distribution and sales business.
Greenberg Traurig’s client, AMBI Group, in partnership with Raven Capital Management, acquired the EMG film library and the rights to a number of titles still in development and production. AMBI will now have ownership of approximately 400 titles, including coveted films such as Cruel Intentions, Donnie Darko, and Ides of March. In addition to acquiring the library titles, AMBI will now have the sequel and remake rights to any films previously owned by EMG.
