Greenberg Traurig’s Mark Clayton to Speak at the 2017 IAGA Best Practices Institute at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E)

Clayton, a co-chair of the Global Gaming Group and shareholder in the Las Vegas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the IAGA Best Practices Institute held during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E)’s Conference, Oct. 2 from 10:05 – 11:00 a.m., at Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Clayton will participate on the panel titled, “What Does the Constantly Shifting Gaming Landscape Mean for the Regulated Gaming Industry,” with gaming regulators and colleagues in various segments of the gaming industry, to discuss how technology advances may affect the industry. The discussion will provide an overview of the many threats and opportunities between gaming and gambling, and an understanding of why “business as usual” will not work in the new gaming environment. Clayton has wide-ranging experience in the gaming industry and focuses his practice on gaming operational and regulatory matters, including those related to land-based gaming, internet gaming, and the manufacturing and distribution of gaming equipment. He also focuses on legislation and regulatory projects and represents clients with gaming matters in U.S. and international jurisdictions. Prior to joining the firm, Clayton served as counsel for three casino corporations. He is a former member of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
