TAMPA Fla. (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- Peter W. Zinober, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Tampa office, has been elected to membership on the Board of Governors of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has been a fellow of the organization since 1996.
According to its website, The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a fellowship of the most accomplished members of the labor and employment law community. Its mission, in part, is to promote achievement, advancement, and excellence in the practice area and to recognize and honor distinguished members of that legal community. The Board of Governors is elected and its members are from four constituencies: union lawyers, primarily representing unions (both as in-house and outside counsel); management lawyers, primarily representing employers (both as in-house and outside counsel); lawyers who represent individual employees; and neutrals, who are government officials, arbitrators, or scholars.
“As the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice meets the needs of our clients in an ever-changing marketplace, our mission is to deliver value and stay ahead of the curve on trends, policies and legislation” said Jonathan Sulds, shareholder and co-chair of the Global Labor & Employment Practice. “We are proud of this recognition of Pete’s excellence and peer standing, which demonstrates that we are accomplishing our mission by offering top notch, well-informed service to our clients.”
Zinober serves as co-chair of the firm’s Global Labor & Employment Practice. He concentrates his practice on the defense of employment discrimination cases in state and federal court, both jury and non-jury, as well as wage and hour, disability discrimination, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, and other whistleblower defense, age and all other types of employment litigation, as well as traditional labor law.
