Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Dawn Giebler-Millner Elected to Special Olympics Florida Board of Directors
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- Dawn I. Giebler-Millner, a shareholder in the Orlando office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Florida.
Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities with 4.2 million participating athletes in 170 countries. Special Olympics Florida serves more than 25,000 athletes with the help of nearly 1,600 coaches and more than 15,000 dedicated volunteers.
At Greenberg Traurig, Giebler-Millner is chair of the firm's Orlando Litigation Practice and focuses her practice in the areas of product liability, employment, consumer, commercial and complex civil litigation. She has served as trial counsel in numerous cases involving claims of product liability, breach of contract, fraud, breach of various state and federal consumer statutes, employment discrimination and land contamination. Currently, she serves as lead jurisdictional coordinator for hundreds of tobacco cases throughout Central Florida. She was also responsible for developing and coordinating discovery for hundreds of toxic substance cases on a nationwide basis.
Giebler-Millner received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.
