The program will cover timely topics relating to how the outcome of these three cases will impact class action litigation going forward, including: Campbell-Ewald: whether a plaintiff lacks standing to assert a claim after he receives an offer of judgment providing him with complete relief; Spokeo: whether a consumer has “standing” to assert a cause of action for statutory damages without having suffered actual damage; and Tyson: whether a class may be certified that contains hundreds of members who were not injured and have no legal right to damages.
