Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts to Take Flight in Arizona
Compton, California (PRWEB) April 22, 2015 -- Lucas Oil Off Road Racing is storming into Phoenix, Arizona this weekend and Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts are bringing the #10 Pro 4 to battle under the lights at Chandler’s Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 represent the series’ sole visit to the Valley of the Sun for 2015 and for Adler, the opportunity to jump start the season after a disappointing opening weekend at Lake Elsinore.
Competing in the series’ elite Pro 4 division, Adler and the Team 4 Wheel Parts crew helmed by seasoned veteran, Mike Seat, have utilized the break since Rounds 1&2 to prepare to clash with the sport’s best off-road drivers on the tight and technical track on the outskirts of Phoenix.
"The time off between rounds has allowed us to fine tune and work on our set-up,” said Adler. “We’ve had a chance to go out and put some laps on the truck in testing and I think we’ll have something for them this weekend,” he added.
As an Arizona State University alum, Adler looks forward to seeing many familiar faces among the standing room only crowds anticipated for Rounds 3&4 at Wild Horse Pass. “We always enjoy racing in Phoenix,” he said. “With so many off-road enthusiasts in the region, the sport has built an incredible following. It’s great to go back there and have the chance to catch up with friends who come out and check out the racing.”
The inevitable contact of short course racing combined with back-to-back races on Friday and Saturday night poses a unique challenge that often keeps the crew working well into the night. “Sometimes these races can become a battle of attrition, but we have an incredibly hard working and talented group of guys,” said Adler. “This team is well prepared and I think we’re ready to put it all together this weekend."
The Chandler, Arizona event is part of the18-round Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. In 2015, the series also visits California, Nevada, Utah, and for the first time ever, Ensenada, Mexico.
