Grieving is a highly individual experience. The healing process depends on many factors, including the grieving individual’s personality, life experience, faith, and the nature of the loss. The grieving process takes time.
When grief is processed and integrated, it transforms into life-force, the fuel that re-vitalizes and propels people forward as individuals, families, and communities. But when grief is ignored, tamped down or buried alive, that vitality is buried with it.

Humanity’s ancestors accepted grief as a normal part of life. They knew that grief buried alive kills the mind, the body, the soul. This experiential retreat was created by two pioneers in grief healing: Joyce Dillon, RN, MN and Melody LeBaron.
Joyce has studied loss and grief with wise elder Dr. Malidoma Some, mentored by loss and grief author and teacher Francis Weller and is trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy. Melody is a Feng Shui consultant, Grief Yoga teacher, space and personal clearing practitioner and author of the book: "Creating Sacred Space for Death: How to Prepare Yourself and the Environment when a Loved One is Dying." Together, their deep personal integration of loss and grief revitalized their lives and led to their creating this transformational retreat.
