Groundbreaking ADHD Medical Clinic Has Opened in the Tampa Bay Area to Treat Children and Young Adults.
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) January 23, 2015 -- Focus-MD, a new medical practice devoted to the care of patients with ADHD and related disorders has opened in Tampa, Florida. ADHD affects nearly ten percent of the population and is the leading cause of school failure and under-performance. Dr. Regina Hardin, has been a pediatrician for over 14 years and is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Talladega College in Alabama. Her medical school training was completed at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, pediatric internship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and pediatric residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1999.
Throughout her training, she has demonstrated academic excellence by graduating from college and medical school magna and cum laude respectively. She has also achieved the top physician academic honor of membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. As a pediatrician, she holds the well-being of children first and foremost and desires to provide the best care to every child. She plans to use her medical and personal experience with ADHD to ensure that every child reaches their full potential for success in both academic and social arenas into adulthood. Dr. Hardin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and is eager to again call the Tampa Bay area home.
Dr. Hardin has partnered with Focus-MD to offer up to date assessment and treatment for her patients and to specialize in this area. Focus-MD is a medical practice for those with ADHD and related problems providing objective testing, medical treatment as well as behavior modification strategies. On September 15, 2014, Dr. Hardin opened her new Focus-MD practice and began assisting patients in moving forward from "frustration to focus".
