Group Mobile Awarded National Cooperative Purchasing Contract By The City Of Tucson
CHANDLER, Ariz. (PRWEB) January 09, 2018 -- Group Mobile, a premier mobile technology solution provider, has been awarded a national cooperative contract, made available through National IPA, a cooperative purchasing organization dedicated to serving city, state, and local government demand. The contract, awarded by the City of Tucson, includes the purchase of Ruggedized Laptops, Tablets, Accessories, and Related Technology Products and Services. The contract, which was granted after a competitively sought contracting process, will continue throughout an initial two-year agreement, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods through 2022.
The contract supports Group Mobile’s efforts to provide rugged mobile hardware, in-vehicle and complete system integration, project service support, and asset management to a variety of industries, from city government to public service sectors. “We are excited to see how this contract with the City of Tucson will increase our ability to provide rugged technology solutions to those who need it most,” said Steve Shainman, Group Mobile West Sales Director. National IPA is a purchasing vehicle which allows government agencies, educational institutions and non-profit agencies across the United States to reduce procurement costs by leveraging group volume. Agreements through National IPA are publicly solicited and are awarded through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Cooperative purchasing lowers costs, time, and resources for participating agencies.
