GSE To Present on Modeling and Simulation for Power Plant Safety and Training at PowerPlantSim’15
SYKESVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- Four experts from global energy services solutions provider GSE Systems, Inc. will be presenting papers on modeling and simulation technologies for power plant safety and training at the 2015 Power Plant Simulation Conference (PowerPlantSim’15). The conference will be held January 26-28 at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, Fl. GSE experts will also be providing live demonstrations of the company’s simulation solutions for power plants at booths 3 and 4 during the event.
Mike Fendley, VP, will kick off the conference for GSE with a presentation, Next Generation Modeling and How You Get There, on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Jamie Camp, Program Manager, will then discuss his paper on a recent project with the Electric Power Research Institute at 2:00 p.m. Scott Zepplin, Program Manager, will also present his paper, Things to Know Before You Implement a Severe Accident Model, at 4:15 p.m. that same day.
Tuesday will see another presentation from Zepplin at 10:30 a.m., How to Prepare Your Electrical Models for Extended Blackout. George McCullough, VP, will then deliver his paper, Severe Accident Solution for Training and Emergency Preparedness, at 11:30 a.m. Fendley will wrap up the conference for GSE on Wednesday with a discussion of the Mochovce unit 3 and 4 full-scope simulator project at 8:30 a.m.
Conference attendees can visit GSE at booths 3 and 4 during the show to see live demonstrations of the company’s simulation solutions.
