GSMI’s Mobile+Web DevCon Features Pre-Conference Labs with Speakers from Twitter, Mozilla, NBC Universal
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 19, 2013 -- GSMI’s Mobile+Web Developer Conference, a three-day comprehensive event including tracks dedicated to iOS, Android, Mobile Web & Web development and Design for Developers, is coming up January 28-30, 2014. DevCon features a full day of pre-conference labs - three-hour intensive hands-on sessions where attendees work with experts to build their own apps and learn tips and tricks for optimizing their apps and websites.
DevCon has confirmed Mohammad Almalkawi, Senior Software Engineer from Twitter, who will be hosting a lab on building Android apps. Mohammad Almalkawi has been working on Twitter's Mobile Team for about 2 years, mostly on Android platform. Currently, he is the technical lead on Mobile Tools and the Mobile Contributor System. DevCon has also confirmed Sam Richard, Senior Front End Developer of NBC Universal, who works with Sass+Compass, Responsive Web Design, Design in Browser, Content Strategy, User Experience, and on occasion Drupal. Sam will be presenting on Style Prototyping: Building Content First, Future Friendly Style Systems In Browser. This interactive session will leave attendees with a better understanding of what Style Prototypes are, how they can use modern webdev stacks to build visual content models and style systems, and how they can integrate their design processes into agile cycles.
