GSW Recaps Telnet Server for Windows 2014 Year and Looks to 2015
Dawsonville, Georgia (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- Georgia SoftWorks reviews the past year developing the GSW Telnet Server for Windows and SSH Server for Windows. They also discuss plans for the 2015 year.
“2014 has been an exciting year at Georgia SoftWorks,” said Doug Hitchcock of Georgia SoftWorks. “We have made some big updates to our Telnet Server and SSH Server, launched our GSW Business Tunnel, reactivated the GSW Support Forums and expanded our reseller network.”
In July, GSW released a major release of the GSW Universal Terminal Server (UTS), which included several new features and security measures for the GSW UTS. This release included Elliptic Curve Cryptography support for client-to-server authentication, key exchange, and public key authentication, as well as modification of the GSW Certificate Mapping Tool to allow for public key to user account mapping.
“We make sure to stay on the cutting edge with our SSH Server for Windows, ensuring it always offers End-to-End security with easy-to-implement solutions,” said Hitchcock. “We will continue that in 2015, doing whatever it takes to always offer the strongest authentication features available.”
The GSW global network of resellers also expanded in 2014. They added resellers all over the world, including China, India, Canada, USA and more. They also hit milestones with several of the GSW Authorized Resellers. Majure Data and Advanced Solutions, both from the USA and BBM from Croatia reached 10 years of partnership this year. German reseller KDL Logistiksysteme GmbH had their five year anniversary in October.
The GSW Support Forums were also reactivated and redesigned in April 2014. The forums serve as another method of technical support, providing a community of help to users who have questions. The GSW Support Team also frequents the board to offer support.
“In 2015, GSW plans to continue to grow our reseller network, strengthen our products as new technologies develop, as well as highlight products that can really help people in the age of internet security, like the GSW Business Tunnel,” said Hitchcock.
