Guide Dogs stand out from the crowd
(PRWEB UK) 19 February 2015 -- First established in 1931, Guide Dogs is a long running institution well known, and loved, by all in the UK. One of the country’s largest charities, Guide Dogs has helped over 29,000 blind and partially sighted people, since their start.
Guide Dogs receive no government funding, and rely solely on the support of the public through a mixture of donations, sponsorship and fundraising events. It costs £5 a day to support a working guide dog partnership, totalling to a lifetime cost of £50,000. To raise awareness and support of the charity, Guide Dogs attend many events across the year, including exhibitions.
To ensure they have a prominent presence at exhibitions, Guide Dogs use exhibition stands created by Quadrant2Design. With a mixture of different stand designs and 500 travel-friendly banner stands, Guide Dogs are able to make a real impact at shows and be present at multiple at any one time.
The charity have recently approach the Poole based Quadrant2Design with an urgent job. Requiring a new stand for upcoming exhibition in Swansea, and with under a week to create it, it was a quick turnaround for the company, to make sure that the charity had them on time.
As well as South Wales, Guide Dogs also had stands at 100% Optical (7th-9th) and The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show (12th-15th) this month. Both shows took place at ExCel in London.
