Gulf Building LLC Announces Hiring of Shawn Quill as Chief Financial Officer
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) May 19, 2015 -- Gulf Building LLC, South Florida’s premier provider of commercial and custom-residential construction management services, today announced the hiring of Shawn Quill as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new position, Quill is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting and financial functions of the company, including developing and maintaining effective accounting, financial and treasury systems, as well as preserving the company’s existing relationships with various external entities from its accounting firm, legal team and bonding firm, to financial institutions and lenders.

Quill brings nearly 15 years of accounting and financial management experience, including 10 years in the construction industry, to his role as CFO at Gulf Building. Prior to joining the company, he served as Controller for Konover South and Sikon Construction Corporation in Deerfield Beach. In addition, Quill also previously worked as the accounting manager for Centerline Homes, as well as a senior auditor for a large, reputable Miami-based CPA firm.
Quill is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a degree in Business Administration from American University in Washington D.C. and a Masters of Accounting from the Huizenga School of Business at Nova Southeastern University. He currently resides in Parkland with his wife, Elyse, and their son, Ethan.
