Guru in a Bottle™ creator Ardi Kolah to judge prestigious PRCA Awards 2013
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 28 July 2013 -- This year’s PRCA Awards 2013 looks like being a record year for entries.
PRCA judge Ardi Kolah observes: “I’m absolutely delighted to be involved in assessing the quality of the work of some of the best and brightest PR agencies in the world and I expect the standard of entries to be even higher this year.
“It’s also a fantastic opportunity for those of us who’ve been in the industry for some time to recognise the brilliant work of those who are the next generation of leaders for the industry in the future.”
Ardi Kolah, author of the best-selling series Guru in a Bottle and currently interim board director of marketing and communications at The Scout Association is joined by a high-powered group of judges that includes industry veteran Bob Leaf of Burson Marstella; Larry Franks of Beige London; Aileen Thompson; David Singleton of Dods Publishing; Adrian Brady of Eulogy and Dominic Church of Westminster Advisors.
Last year, Weber Shandwick were crowned International Consultancy of the Year (UK) 2012 and Golin Harris picked up the accolade for Large Consultancy of the Year 2012.
Submission entry rules
• The PRCA Awards are open to all parties involved in the use of PR for communications purposes; PR consultancies, freelancers, in-house communications departments, digital agencies and media owners
• Organisations can submit multiple entries into all of the categories
• Companies or individuals may submit entries on behalf of themselves or others
• Entries made into the ‘Campaign Award’ categories must have been started or completed by 1 June 2012 and 31 May 2013
• For categories recognising the performance of teams or consultancies rather than individuals or campaigns, financial and other figures should relate to your most recent financial year
• It is the entrants responsibility to seek and ensure permission has been granted for the right to use the intellectual property of the brand or client entered
• Where both the consultancy and the in-house team wish to enter the same project, the entry must be tailored accordingly, for example, written from the perspective of the client or the consultancy and will be judged separately.
The PR evidence submitted at this stage is the documentation that will accompany the entry through the judging process. The organisers can refuse entries which may offend or bring the PRCA or industry into disrepute.
