Hamilton Scientific’s Epoxyn Products Visited by Governor Mike Beebe of Arkansas to Announce a $500,000 Community Development Grant to Assist the Company’s Expansion
De Pere, WI; Mountain Home, AR (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 -- Governor Mike Beebe recently visited Epoxyn Products, a Hamilton Scientific company, in Mountain Home to announce a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant. The grant will be used in the expansion of the Epoxyn Products facility, resulting in 60 new jobs over the next 90 days.
“We strive to recruit businesses to Arkansas,” Beebe told a large crowd gathered at the plant that makes resin surfaces for scientific, industrial and educational purposes. “We must never, ever, forget the businesses we already have. The ones that are already invested in the community.” Referring to Epoxyn Products, the Governor continued, “This is a shining example of a great corporate citizen already doing good business, employing good people, that is willing to invest good money to create even more jobs.”
Jack Roberts, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Scientific, told the crowd that the company planned to hire 60 additional employees over the course of the next 90 days. He praised the Governor by commenting, “It’s amazing and it’s rare that you see a situation that reacts so quickly to business. The Governor’s commitment to business is incredible and with that type of spirit all businesses in this region have the ability to flourish.”
