Hammer Associates Continues Charity Effort to Provide Support and Raise Donations for the Hill County Stars
Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 12, 2016 -- Hammer Associates, an Austin area insurance provider with offices that serve Travis County and the surrounding communities, is continuing their current charity drive to provide support to the Hill County Stars, a Special Olympics Delegation in central Texas.
For nearly 20 years, the Hill County Stars Special Olympics Delegation has offered adults of all ability levels a place to participate in and enjoy recreational sports. Currently offering twelve different sporting events, including basketball, track and field, tennis, cycling, soccer, and golf, the 120 volunteers working with the Hill County Stars work to provide differently-abled adults across a broad range of skill levels a place to come together and enjoy the recreation of their choice.
“The Austin community has come out in droves to support the Hill County Stars, but we’re still a bit shy of where we want to be to help ensure that these heroic competitors will have access to the programs they love,” says Mike Hammer, manager and director of Hammer Associates.
Hammer and his team have already established an online social media portal to generate buzz for the ongoing Hill County Stars charity drive, as well as a dedicated email update system to keep local community leaders informed.
