Handlebar Enhancement for Bicycles Invented by InventHelp Client (WGH-4431)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- If you don't get out on your bicycle as often as you would like, there is now a way to improve your motivation. An inventor from Hollidaysburg, Pa., has discovered a bicycle accessory that makes riding easier than ever.
He developed a prototype for THE LINK to provide multiple benefits for a bicyclist that promote a more enjoyable riding experience. For instance, it affords an extended steering surface so rider can sit upright and maintain control of the bike. Furthermore, it increases comfort since rider can keep back straight rather than continuously leaning forward to grip conventional handlebars. As such, it reduces strain on the back and other muscles.
Its versatility is another advantage. It can either be applied one way for added riding comfort or used another way to carry baggage. Therefore, it enables cyclists to ride for longer distances. At the same time, it does not interfere with any of the bicycle’s controls. In addition it is sturdy, easy to install and affordably priced.
The inventor's cycling experience inspired the idea. "I have a mountain bike and wanted to find a way to make it easy to use the bike more often," he said. "This accessory makes it more comfortable to ride and easier to carry things on the bike." The idea is patent pending.
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
