Hands-Free Toilet Seat Lifter Invented by InventHelp Client (NJD-1352)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 10, 2017 -- The majority of today's population is familiar with the age-old problem of a man's tendency to forget to put the toilet seat down after use. Not only is this an aggravation for woman who shares a bathroom with a man, but also presents the issue of having to touch an unsanitary toilet seat to change its position.
An inventor from Jersey City, N.J., has invented the patent-pending LIFT-A-SEAT, a hands-free device that raises and lowers a toilet seat with the touch of a foot. "As a man, I am very aware of how unsanitary it is to touch toilet seats when I lift them up to use the toilet," said the inventor. "My invention entirely eliminates the need to touch the toilet, improving sanitation." LIFT-A-SEAT also helps to teach young boys proper bathroom etiquette.
This invention would also appeal to elderly persons, handicapped individuals and people with back problems. It is easy to install and easy to clean.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
